The Tricker's Bourton is not a shoe for an occasion. It's a shoe for life. Handcrafted in Northampton by England's oldest shoemaker, the Bourton carries decades of British country tradition — a robust profile, a handcrafted soul, a presence that doesn't go unnoticed. The C-Shade Tan is the house color: warm, opaque, with a flat and rare materiality that no other leather can replicate.
Everything you need to know
- C-Shade Calf Leather — a timeless Tricker's house color. An opaque mid-tan tone with a naturally flat sheen, obtained from bull hides selected for thickness and sturdiness. Improves with use, withstands the elements, lasts over time.
- Goodyear Storm Welt Construction — the stitch that protects. The storm welt creates a double barrier between the upper and sole, waterproof and structured, designed for uneven terrain.
- Full Bellows Tongue — airtight seal against wind and water. A technical detail that is not seen but felt.
- Full Grain Leather Lining — no synthetics. The shoe breathes, adapts to the foot, improves season after season.
- Sole Choice — double leather sole for maximum durability and structure, or studded Dainite rubber sole for grip on any surface. Same shoe, two characters.
- Last 4444 — Tricker's historic last, in production for decades. Please note: it fits half a size larger than the standard UK size.
- Handcrafted in Northampton — every pair handcrafted, stitch by stitch, in the same factory for over a century.
With tweed and wool socks, it's the country shoe. With chinos and a trench coat, it becomes the detail that distinguishes an urban look. The Bourton isn't worn to impress — it does that on its own.

Failure to pay duties
If the customer refuses to pay the duties or charges required upon arrival, the shipment may be retained or returned to sender. In these cases, we will not be able to accept the return unless the customer covers all return costs and any additional costs incurred by the courier or customs.
