Crafted from 100% Shetland wool, selected and imported from the United Kingdom by De Paz, they are presented here in the famous Black Watch tartan, featuring the unmistakable combination of navy blue and dark green. A historic design from the Scottish tradition, understated and recognizable, capable of giving the trousers character without sacrificing versatility.
The model features double pleats, designed to offer greater width and comfort in the upper part of the trousers, while maintaining an elegant and well-defined line. The spacious side pockets are complemented by a characteristic front coin pocket, while the externally attached buttons for braces refer directly to the tradition of men's sartorial trousers.
SHETLAND TWEED
The Shetland Tweed represents a particular expression of the great British tweed tradition. While the term Scottish Tweed can encompass fabrics made with wools of different characteristics, Shetland Tweed is distinguished by the use of wool from the Shetland sheep, a breed native to the Scottish islands of the same name and historically prized for the quality of its fleece.
Its fiber is known for a finer and softer hand compared to many wools traditionally used in more rustic tweeds. The result is a warm, structured, and durable fabric that is at the same time pleasant to the touch.
BLACK WATCH TARTAN
The Black Watch is one of the most recognizable Scottish tartans, characterized by the alternation of navy blue, dark green, and black. Born within the Scottish military tradition, it still retains a particularly balanced and timeless aesthetic today.
