The De Paz velvet Chino trousers are designed to combine comfort, practicality, and informal elegance, making them ideal for everyday use while also suitable for more sophisticated occasions.
The regular fit and straight leg define a classic and comfortable silhouette. The bottle green version, intense and deep, particularly enhances the velvet surface and lends itself well to pairings with brown, beige, grey, and natural tones.
CORDUROY
The personality of corduroy depends primarily on the size of its ribs. In English terminology, this is referred to as the wale: pinwale or needlecord for finer ribs, mid-wale for intermediate ones, and wide-wale for wide, more prominent ribs.
Our rocciatore (climber) velvet, on the other hand, features a particular alternation of wide and narrow ribs, a construction traceable to the English definition of alternating wale or mixed-wale corduroy.
This structure gives the fabric a highly three-dimensional surface and a soft, thick, and substantial hand. The significant weight of the velvet also offers excellent warmth and comfort during the colder months.
The Modal discreetly contributes to the overall softness of the fabric, while the elastane allows the trousers to move with the body more easily.
The garment is 100% Made in Italy, the result of careful artisanal tailoring.
