Velvet Chinos
The De Paz velvet Chinos combine the practicality of an everyday trouser with the care of a garment suitable for more elegant occasions.
The classic and informal cut, regular fit, and straight leg ensure a balanced silhouette and particularly high comfort. In the grey version, the velvet takes on a sober and versatile character, ideal with a jacket as well as a pullover or a more casual piece.
CORDUROY
The corduroy fabric is traditionally distinguished based on the size of the vertical ribs. The term wale identifies each rib: pinwale or needlecord features very fine ribs, mid-wale has intermediate ribs, while wide-wale is characterized by wider and more pronounced ribs.
In our "rocciatore" (rock climber) velvet, however, larger and finer ribs alternate regularly, giving rise to what can be described in English as alternating wale or mixed-wale corduroy.
It is a soft yet substantial, warm, and durable velvet, particularly suitable for trousers in the colder season. The pronounced structure of the fabric also creates interesting variations of light and color depth.
A moderate amount of Modal enhances the softness of the hand, while elastane increases comfort during movement.
The De Paz Chinos are 100% Made in Italy, handcrafted with particular attention to construction and finishes.
