The De Paz Brushed Yoke Crewneck is one of the iconic sweaters in our shop, chosen not only for its design, but above all for the way it is constructed.
It is made in Scotland from 100% Shetland wool, using a manufacturing process that brings the garment to life as a single knit structure.
THE YOKE MOTIF
The Yoke occupies the upper part of the sweater and follows the line of the shoulders in a circular fashion. In this variant, the light blue jacquard motif stands out boldly against the brown background, creating an unusual yet balanced contrast.
It is not simply a decorative element applied to the garment: the design is built directly into the knitting process and becomes part of the sweater's structure itself.
KNIT AS A SINGLE PIECE
The sweater is made using a tubular construction with no side seams and no assembled panels.
This technique allows the knit to develop continuously, better following the body's shape and reducing the stiffness normally created by seams.
The result is a natural and particularly comfortable fit.
THE BRUSHED FINISH
The Shetland wool is subsequently brushed, raising some of the surface fibers.
It is precisely this step that creates the sweater's slightly textured and airy appearance, as well as a softer, more enveloping feel.
The surface gains greater volume without becoming heavy, while retaining the typical character of Shetland wool.
