Ribbed Crew Neck
Ribbed Crew Neck
The rib changes the rhythm of a classic. In the De Paz Ribbed Crew Neck, the raised knit adds depth to the surface and makes the sweater recognizable without the need for patterns or contrasts.
It is a sweater to wear on cooler days, on its own over a shirt or under outerwear. The tubular construction and the wool make it a practical alternative to the usual smooth crew neck.
A SEAMLESS KNIT
As with the Shetland Yoke Crew Neck, the garment is made using tubular knitting: the body of the sweater takes shape in the round, rather than being built entirely from separate panels. It is a way of working that focuses on the continuity of the knit and the natural way it fits.
THE RIBBED STITCH
The distinctive feature of this model is the ribbed stitch. The alternating ribs create a regular relief that is both visible and tactile: a structural detail that becomes the character of the entire sweater.
The surface is not flat. It follows the movement and gives presence even to the simplest outfit, for example with flannel trousers or denim.
THE WOOL
Made of 100% wool, the crew neck retains the essential character of Scottish knitwear. It is Made in Scotland, like the Shetland Yoke model from which it takes its tubular construction.
