The 100% Shetland wool cloth, selected and imported by De Paz from the United Kingdom, features a clearly visible Herringbone weave, which gives movement to the surface and adds depth to the green tone.
Inside, the 100% viscose yellow lining creates a bold and unexpected contrast: a detail that remains discreet when the jacket is worn, but highlights its character as soon as it is opened.
SHETLAND AND HERRINGBONE
The Shetland wool comes from the sheep breed of the same name and has been historically prized for its unique balance of softness, elasticity, warmth, and durability. It can be used both in knitwear and in the production of tweed and more structured sartorial fabrics.
The Herringbone weave, or herringbone pattern, originates from the alternation of diagonals that change direction to form a series of “V” shapes. It is a classic construction of British weaving and allows light to move across the fabric in a less uniform manner.
On the green background, the Herringbone makes the fabric richer without the need to add further colors or patterns.
