In the blue Shetland wool De Paz Jacket, the herringbone pattern breaks the surface into small diagonals and makes the fabric more dynamic, while maintaining a classic aesthetic.
The choice of a burgundy lining introduces a warm, bold color to the interior, creating one of the most elegant contrasts in the collection.
SHETLAND HERRINGBONE
Shetland wool possesses a natural combination of softness, elasticity, and durability. The presence of crimp in the fibers also contributes to giving the fabric volume and the ability to recover its shape.
On this material, the herringbone weave constructs a sequence of alternating diagonals. The pattern is not applied to the surface: it arises directly from the weave of the fabric and thus remains an integral part of its structure.
In blue, the design is perceived differently depending on the light, shifting from an almost uniform effect to a much more prominent herringbone.
As with the other jackets in the line, the fabric is selected and imported from the United Kingdom by De Paz and entrusted to a specialized Italian sartorial workshop.
