The three-button front, rolled to two, the patch pockets, the elbow patches, and the side vents define a garment with an informal character. The tailoring is done in Italy, using our fabrics imported from England.
THE SHIRT JACKET
The shirt jacket occupies a precise space in the wardrobe: less formal than a classic jacket, more structured than a shirt. In the De Paz interpretation, the complete absence of lining leaves the fabric to define the silhouette of the garment, without adding layers to the construction.
The three-button front rolled to two follows the fold of the lapel, leaving the top button out of the usual closure. The patch pockets and elbow patches emphasize its character, while the side vents offer ease of movement.
DONEGAL TWEED
Donegal Tweed takes its name from County Donegal, in the north-west of Ireland, a territory with a long tradition in wool working. Its hallmark is the small colored flecks or neps distributed throughout the weave: specks that make the surface lively and irregular, adding depth to the fabric's color.
In this De Paz Shirt Jacket, the 100% wool Donegal Tweed meets a completely unlined construction, which puts the material, its hand, and its drape at the forefront. The patch pockets and elbow patches accompany its informal character, in a garment to be paired with a shirt, a crew neck, or cotton trousers.
