De Paz Original Cap in Shetland
In this version, the De Paz Original Cap in Shetland takes on a particularly bold character thanks to a green background crossed by orange stripes, arranged to form a large check pattern.
The color contrast is evident but remains harmonized by the natural texture of Shetland wool, which makes the colors less sharp and deeper compared to a smooth-surfaced fabric.
As with the other caps in the line, the cloth has been selected by De Paz and is of the same quality as the fabrics used for the tailored garments available in our shop.
The model is crafted in England by specialized artisan workshops, with a one-size-fits-all design, a slightly elasticized back, and an inner lining that is soft and comfortable to wear.
SHETLAND WOOL
The Shetland wool comes from the sheep breed of the same name, native to the Shetland Islands. It is known for its fine, soft, and naturally wavy fleece, with a good combination of warmth, elasticity, lightness, and durability. The fiber is used both in knitwear and in the production of tweeds and more structured cloths.
In this variant, the large green and orange check enhances the very irregular surface of the fabric: the design appears sharp in its construction, yet softer and richer in its shades.
