It features a traditional long Raglan coat cut, distinguished by the unique sleeve construction that starts directly from the neck area: this structure follows natural movement, makes it easy to wear over jackets and knitwear, and contributes to the soft, comfortable silhouette typical of this model. The front closure features a button and interior anchor button, while the construction is completed by two external pockets, two internal buttoned pockets, the traditional deep internal newspaper pocket, and a rear vent.
THE RAGLAN COAT
The Raglan coat takes its name from Lord Raglan, a 19th-century British general who lost an arm during the Battle of Waterloo. The unique sleeve construction, cut in one continuous piece from the neck area rather than at the shoulder, was created to offer greater freedom of movement and ease of wear.
