Donegal Herringbone Tweed Raglan Coat – Brown

Sale price€980,00

Donegal Herringbone Tweed Raglan Coat

The De Paz Donegal Herringbone Tweed Raglan Coat combines one of the most iconic outerwear styles of the British tradition with a substantial 700g 100% wool Irish cloth, chosen to provide protection, warmth, and character during the colder months.

This version features a classic brown base, enriched by the characteristic colored flecks of Donegal and the depth of the Herringbone weave. A contrasting dark green lining completes the coat with a sober and refined color combination.

The construction features the characteristic Raglan sleeve, which originates directly from the neckline and follows the shoulder without the traditional structured seam. This design makes the coat particularly comfortable and easy to wear over jackets and knitwear.

The coat is long and features a button and counter-button front closure, two outer pockets, two internal buttoned pockets, the traditional deep internal newspaper pocket, and a rear vent.

THE RAGLAN COAT

The name Raglan comes from Lord Raglan, a 19th-century British general. The sleeve construction that bears his name was created to offer greater comfort and freedom of movement.

The sleeve extends to the collar area, eliminating the classic shoulder seam and making the coat easier to wear over other garments. This solution helped transform the Raglan into one of the great classics of the British men's wardrobe.

THE DONEGAL HERRINGBONE TWEED

The Donegal Tweed originates from County Donegal, Ireland, and is recognizable by the characteristic colored flecks or neps woven into the fabric.

In this version, the fabric also features the classic Herringbone structure, in which diagonal lines change direction to create the typical “V”-shaped zig-zag pattern.

The combination of Herringbone and Donegal creates a rich, textured fabric, while the 700g weight ensures great warmth, structure, and durability.

The De Paz Raglan Coat is 100% Made in Italy and tailored using original, certified 100% Irish wool Donegal Herringbone Tweed, selected and imported directly from Ireland by De Paz.
