The brown three-piece corduroy suit brings together a matching jacket, trousers, and waistcoat in a sartorial ensemble designed for those seeking something classic without being conventional.
The corduroy is the same as that chosen for our iconic John Trousers: a mid-wale corduroy, in 100% cotton, selected and imported from the United Kingdom by De Paz.
The brown tone emphasizes the depth of the fabric and changes slightly in appearance depending on the light, a characteristic typical of corduroy.
The entire suit is crafted in Italy by a specialized workshop, with particular attention to proportions, construction, and finishing.
A THREE-PIECE SUIT
The suit includes a jacket, trousers, and waistcoat in the same fabric.
The presence of the waistcoat allows for a particularly polished look even when the jacket is removed, restoring to the suit that complete character belonging to the men's sartorial tradition.
Worn in its full configuration, it has a strong presence; by separating the three elements, however, the jacket, trousers, and waistcoat can easily be incorporated into more informal combinations.
CORDUROY
Corduroy has a history deeply linked to British clothing. The surface is marked by raised vertical ribs that give the fabric softness, texture, and a particular ability to catch the light.
The English term wale indicates the number and size of the ribs. The fabric chosen for this suit can be classified as a mid-wale corduroy, an intermediate rib that maintains a good balance between elegance and character.
It is a substantial yet comfortable velvet to wear, ideal for giving structure to a suit intended for the colder season.
